"358" comes from its measurements 3" x 0.5" x 8 gauges which equates to approx. 76.2mm x 12.7mm x 4mm (Length x height x Diameter) in metric.

358 mesh fence is also called 358 mesh, high security fence, prison mesh, anti-climb fence or anti-cut fence. It is wildly used for the places requiring high security protection, such as prison, military zone and other places where security control is necessory.

Features

• Easy installation: Major parts of the high security fence system are the weld mesh panel, the post and the flat bar, the clamps. First stand the post in the regular distance, then stand the fence panel by the post, and ensure the panel between the flat bar and the post. Then fix the fence panel, post and flat bar with the clamps and bolts.
• High Security: 358 mesh fencing is famous of its high security function. The small mesh (76.2mm*12.7mm) is difficult enough for human finger or cutter go though. Hence, it also known as anti-climb fence and anti-cut fence.
• Anti-Climb: The mesh size of 358 mesh fence is 76.2mm*12.7mm which is too small for human's finger to go though.
• Anti-Cut: Cutting the wire of 358 mesh fence is also a problem for the people trying to go through. The normal scissors can go through the mesh but it is not powerful enough for cutting the wire off. If a more powerful cutting tool is applied, then the cutter will be too big to go through the mesh. Normal tools can not cut the wire off.
